- 8 years agoYou can either go through control panel or through origin right clicking the game. (some people just delete the files but that isn't a full uninstall.)

Having the exact same issue. Event viewer logs it as "kernal-power" under critical. Updated graphics drivers, no problems with similarly demanding games, etc. First time I've ever experienced this. Built this PC roughly a month ago. I can play single-player tutorial and missions, but multiplayer and campaign blow me up as soon as they start loading. Cannot reproduce the error outside of the game. Have also reinstalled btw. No dice.

Used Origin to uninstall and re-installed. Crashes are less frequent, but still occur. I'm crashing maybe every 40 minutes.

Did the reinstall, the issue persisted.
I tried turning OFF skype and I've been playing for 3 hours without a crash so far.
Unfortunately Skype is the most reliable way to talk to my friends: Discord, Origin calls and the In-Game chat are only partially working for us. Skype works for everybody but it will crash SW BF2.....
EA has escalated my ticket but no one has contacted me yet (3 days).
