Yep, Epic having the game available for free for a week is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. More players = thriving playerbase = more games! FRESH MEAT FOR THE GRINDER
You know what that means, right? Hackers will flood the PC community.
@EA_Atic I know you guys at EA hate to talk about hackers, but their surge while the game is Free on EPIC is more sure then the surge we had to endure during the initial phases of the global lockdown. And we're realising this a few days in advance right now . Can you pass on to whoever is responsible for the anti-cheat measures that we'll need their help? SWBFII PC has a substantial community of people using 3rd party software to cheat in the game since day 1 (actually since the Beta, and we both know where that beta hacker is working now). Last time I saw a player hacking was already in 2021. Please, let's not repeat April 2020 in January 2021.
- @RogueZeroRendar This. Hackers will drive new players away and kill a game once striving with players. Let’s not repeat what happened with 2015 Front (too many hackers nowadays)
Must be to hit a percentage point of downloads for the board to show shareholders how the game went
