Hey, recently I've bought a PC and started playing BF2 on this platform as well.
It runs without any problems, yet I'm facing a weird situation. If I start up the game and try to get into multiplayer immediately, I get the 216 error code as if something is wrong with my network. I assure you, it isn't - every other game is working perfectly, and what's more interesting is that jumping into a round of Arcade scenario simply fixes it. I do that, go back to Multiplayer, and that's it.
Could you look into this? I mean I'm happy that I can at least play, but this workaround gets old quite quickly.

Okay, so I see that you've moved my comment (which was a separate thread) to an existing one - that's fine.
What's not fine is that you've moved it to a "solved" one where the "solution" is actually the problem I was posting about. I don't want to play Arcade every time I open the game...
