Something I forgot to add is that even though it turns it on when the game is open the control panel setting still reads as off whether it actually is or isn't on.

Have you tried resetting your settings back to default? There's a similar post on the Nvidia subreddit but in reverse.

So I've tried it and it looked like it was going to work but for some reason it started again, it was working for a good bit until I reopened it later to see if it stuck but, nope. Could you link the thread for that other thing? I'd like to see it cuz from what I've seen I couldn't find anything similar to my problem; But yes once again battlefront still forces g-sync on. Is it possible to find and hook somewhere in the config or something what might be doing this? or something I can add to the config that might counter this?
