Battlefront 2 FPS drop

I’ve recently started playing BF2 on PC with my friends after a huge break. I’ve noticed that on kill cam, it is a Little frame drop, But visible, Even though the Game shows 60fps+. On Hero Vs Villain is worse, falling Even to 30fps. I’ve tried everything, But the lag is still there. I tried lowering the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1366x768, lower the graphics quality, and nothing...i’ve never used dx12, so everything was on dx11. Any solution? My pc has:

i5 9400f hexa-core

gtx 1650 4gb gddr5

16 gb ram

the Game has been installed on a ssd, rather than on a hdd

@Skarecrow542  okay so just to be sure no hardware is 100% while playing?

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

  • @EA_Atic Hello! No...it is on a Windows 10 clean install. I’ve tried to optimize the settings from nvidia geforce panel, But it still stutters, and the Hero vs Villains is unplayable due to the frame drops
