Battlefront 2 got uninstalled automatically
Recently, I thought to hop on the game after one or two weeks. I noticed that the SWBF2 icon isn't present on my desktop so I presumed that I may have accidentally deleted it so I decided to open the game from EPIC GAMES where I had bought the game from but then EA app opened and took me to the install window.
I had no memory of deleting the game myself. It deleted by itself and funny that on Epic Games, it said 'Launch' underneath the SWBF2 game instead of 'Install' so I presume it is the infamous EA app that did that. I HATE EA APP as I had hated ORIGIN. Now I am downloading the game again and my main concern is what if it gets uninstalled by itself again? I don't want to keep downloading the game because it generally takes whole day

This is likely the case. I've never heard of the game uninstalling itself including the icon on the desktop. You won't see any posts in this 6+ year old forum on this issue either.
Nonetheless, if you have a valid license for the game, you should be able to reinstall and carry on without having the reinstall over and over.
