Battlefront 2 lag

When i play bf 2 multiplayer, the game lags alot. The lag comes around, when im next to another player/a crowd of players. the game starts to feel like i have a big fps drop, but my fps shows as the same. I dont think its my internet, because any other game runs perfectly. but the lag only shows in bf 2. If you have any suggestions how to fix the lag. pleace share them, whit me because i need them.
