Battlefront 2 not launching through frosty/ea app/epic games

Question

I've got an issue with BF2 recently. Whenever i try to launch it, at first it seems normal (ea app minimises, etc.), but sudently ea app "returns" and nothing else happens.

It started when i tried to use FrostyModManager (with FrostyFix)

I tried:

Deleting smth in variables (i dont remember exactly, someone stated this solution working if you use FrostyModManager)

Reinstalling EA app and BF2 (but i forgot to restart my pc after it)

If you search this forum for "mods", you will find that you may have difficulty getting the game to cooperate after installing any mods. I fear a system reset may be in your future. However, hopefully you may find a solution that works for you.
