battlefront 2 not launching

Hi, i've had this issue for awhile now, even when origin was a thing with steam, it wouldnt play through origin or ea desktop, i kind of wrote it off as a messed up purchase i shouldnt of done and that was it. however after trying it several times through steam yesterday, to no avail, i tried downlaoding it on ea desktop through ea play, and i got home tonight and it still isnt working, same issues as going through steam, it'd close ea desktop, say on task manager that star wars is playing through background processes, and then it'd go to very high power usage and just shut itself off with ea desktop opening, no bug names, no message pop up. i've tried running it on administrator and without, and also disabling the fullscreen option just above run with permissions.

Sounds like you have Steam in the mix, so I suggest searching this forum for "steam". There are multiple, existing posts which may help. Here is an example.

WOW! out of all the solutions i've tried, and i tried literally everything from soft booting, to deleting all these other things and whatever for about a year, this is the one thing i didnt even know i could try and it genuinely helped, thank you so much
