Battlefront 2 online multiplayer between ps5 and ps4?

My son is hopefully getting the PS5 for Xmas and wanted to know if he will still be able to play Battlefront 2 online multiplayer with his friends who will still be playing on the PS4?

    @emmathevet It uses the same EA Servers, so your son should be able to play online
