Battlefront 2 overheating PS4 after update.

    I was recently able to resolve the issue once I discovered the hot air my console was venting wasn't venting very far and I believe my ps4 was just sucking up the hot air so I placed a fan behind my console to suck out the hot air and blow it away and ive finally been able to play this game for hours with no issues. It's odd it only happens with this game but the fan works until I can pick up a rear fan attachment for my console which is what I would recommend doing if you have the ps4 too hot issue while playing this game.

We haven't seen too many reports like this come our way. Is your PS4 in an enclosed space or is it in the open with plenty of ventilation? 

If you haven't given the PS4 a power cycle lately, let's see if that helps prevent this. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice). Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game. 

Make sure you're not running too many other programs in the background or leaving your console on for an extended period of time. Perhaps changing the power settings for your PS4 could help too.

@EA_Blueberry Hi i have this problem as well, i have tried everything i had a fan next to my PS4 so it Wouldn't overheat, but i have played fallen order, marvel's spider -man and some other games, but only battlefront 2 seems to overheat it, i can nearly only play starfighter assault and when the match is over anthe leaderboard pops up it gives me the message and it says my ps4 is too hot. When i play every other gamemode even in arcade it shuts off, the message also pops up when ispawn in as a hero or trooper even starfighters. This has been going on for since update that changed requirements for the Maul outfit. Please help!!!
