Battlefront 2 trying to use wrong, uninstalled launcher.

Question

I got Battlefront 2 on Epic way back for free and played it for while then uninstalled. recently I bought the Xbox game pass and reinstalled Battlefront 2 but when I launched the game, either through Ea or the Xbox game menu, it says I require the Epic games launcher, which I uninstalled a while ago, and what I don't understand is why do I need epic if I'm playing a game I installed from the game pass and am launching from the game pass or Ea app?&nbsp;

Search this forum for "epic". You will see loads of posts from people having similar issues. Generally, the solution is to uninstall the game and all launchers. Then, reinstall only the launcher you need, then the game.

If that doesn't work, try some of the other solutions mentioned in the posts.
