battlefront 2 wont open

I can remember before Christmas I was dying to get battlefront 2, and it took some time to wait but eventually got it. Once I got it, downloaded it on origin it was fine and I went to play it for the first time but it didn't load up. It would stay on the home screen or pop up with this notification "Detected Intel driver version 9.17.10.4229 05/26/2015 00:00:00 . The recommended driver version is xx.xx15.48 or later. Please update your drivers at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ before playing the game." I have no idea what this means and I'm not very good with computers in that way. I tried to follow the website so I tried to upgrade my graphics driver but it said "Operating system not operational" or something like that. I know it's my computer but I have no idea how to fix it and it cost me $80 for a game I sadly can't play. in other information, I have windows 7 hp notebook or something like that. I would really appreciate someone helping me on this and giving me simple information so I can try to fix it myself. it would also be helpful if there is a way I don't have to pay for anything (hope so) or upgrade to windows 10.

Also, the images attached is what happens when I actually click "ok" and try to start it, there will be a blank page and just won't load.☹️
