Battlefront 2015 Maps & Modes

Having played Battlefront 2 continuously, just jumped into playing Battlefront 2015 again on my XboxOne over the weekend and was glad to see the Multiplayer game modes are still going strong. 

However all the DLC maps and modes were pretty much finished and unplayable with empty game lobbies...

Bespin DLC was the most memorable for me with the amazing large scale maps, makes me feel nostalgic playing back in 2016.

Even though I feel the game mechanics is much better on BF2 overall, I realised how much I miss the maps and game modes from the BF 2015.

I just don't understand why the developers didn't add these game modes and maps they already had, into BF2 as part of the DLC before they decided to stop developing the game. (also to extend the playability for the gamers since they weren't any further announcement on another BF game)

Anyone miss any modes and maps on BF 2015 and wish they were added into BF2?

  • @00sGamerTo be honest, I really don't miss most of the maps (their design) of BF2015 because almost all of them were pure camper maps when in combination with the walker assault mode and with too few possibilities to take cover. Supremacy matches were over too fast anyways.

    They had a lot of a Battlefield 1 vibe which often featured the same type of cauldron camper maps.

    The Scarif map in BF II feels just like in BF2015, campers on every atoll at the edge of the map. Similar to GA Hoth.

    However, I agree to that more of the planet themes (Sullust for example) should've been ported into BF II, the smaller maps of BF 2015 were not bad either.

  • @TRlALONCauldron camper maps” mw2019 noises intensifies and yes the smaller maps in bf2015 were nade spam24/7 out of the larger maps I only enjoyed both Endor and the og jakku ah how nice it was

    @soapy_catusesDamn, I totally forgot that this desert map in BF2015 was actually Jakku lol.

    RIP the rebels when the AT-ATs got in firing range of their spawn points, especially the final one.

    I don't recall much nade spam from the smaller maps because most were just tryharding with jetpack, bacta and EE-3/EE-4 all the time.

    Oh and the all the roll exploits.
