Battlefront II: Celebration Edition - retain progess if installing?

I recently got Battlefront II (Standard edition) for my son & I, not realising there was a Celebration Edition. It seems that if I purchase an upgrade it'll only be associated with one account (which is ridiculous, but there we go). If I were to uninstall the Standard and purchase and install the entire Celebration Edition (which would be cheaper than getting two upgrades), would any progess made in the Standard Edition (associated with a particular Gamertag) be transferred to the new install of the Celebration Edition?

Thanks

Yes, I understand that stats are account-specific.

I was wanting to confirm that if I completely uninstalled the Standard edition from the XBox and then installed a purchased Celebration Edition, no progess would be lost i.e.

    Credits earned would remain

Progress through the Campaign mode would be retained

    Thanks

@Vop0101 yeah everything will stay the same, it's an upgrade if you choose to get it on the account. 🙂

  • @EA_Atic So if you delete Standard edition and download the Celebration edition. Your saying that no progress, credits would be lost And i still get the Celebration pack ? Lol responding in 2022

Hi @ja09ezrgv335, correct. all online data is saved on our side. As long you don't unlink a account that is connected to the EA systems everything will be saved.
