No, no solution yet. My game has been bricked for weeks now unfortunately.
I was having this issue also. I managed to find a temporary fix that allowed me to run the game. All I did was simple go to My Documents and delete the folder 'STAR WARS Battlefront II'. Running the game thereafter did work, however as I am currently dealing with a different problem with the game (the game randomly reboots my PC when playing; I am yet to receive any useful or sufficient response on that after waiting about a month).
I had to delete that folder each time I wanted to run the game; give that a try and let me know if that helps at all. Another thing worth trying (as this did also help me on another occasion) was to head to your Battlefront 2 installation directory and delete both the 'starwarsbattlefrontii.exe' and 'starwarsbattlefrontii_trial.exe' files. Then head back into Origin, click the small gear icon on BF2 and select "Locate Game". Point it toward your 'STAR WARS Battlefront II' folder where the game is installed and wait for it locate and redownload the executables and see if that has helped also.

Ah, I beg your pardon, I misread your original post, apologies. I had made a post a month ago or so about my rebooting issue though it got taken over by someone else and I didn't get any help. I hope you can find a solution soon! It sucks that this kind of problem is affecting so many players especially after such a big and exciting update recently.
