@Player55This follows exactly how EA explained earlier that they have no intentions to make a Battlefront III.Hence I didn't really believe these "news" in the first place. I guess it'll take a very long time if at all until EA grants another attempt at the Battlefront series.

@Player55So, a reddit post with random facts from some random person with no source and a Coruscant render image that might as well be taken from the CW or Rebels show?How is that even considered to be a leak? It smells a lot like bs. Fake leaks for attention are unfortunately a thing as well.So if I make some leak post with made-up facts on reddit, will I receive so much upvotes just like that as well? lmao

@Player55 I wouldn't be surprised if it is in the works. Battlefront 2 sold a lot of copies despite the launch fiasco. The overwhelmingly positive response to DICE's support of the game and the added content seems to have successfully changed people's outlook of the series and renewed hope for a Battlefront 3.Add to that the success of Mandalorian, Clone Wars Season 7, and recent announcements? SW hype is as high as I've ever seen it. Even EA can't pass this up! lol

@ArchAngeL-PCX , I just hope it won't be cancelled like Free Radical's Battlefront III if the contract won't be renewed in 2023!

@Player55Yeah that would be cool too because I could see Battlefront 3 being PC, Xbox Series S, and PS5 only. In fact, I want it to be that way so they can take the game to new levels that PS4 and Xbox One won't be able to handle...higher player counts, much bigger maps, simultaneous battles in space and on planet with travel between the two, etc. Stuff like the old cancelled Battlefront 3 project was going for and maybe bigger.But then supporting Battlefront 2 with some updates could still give players on PS4 and Xbox One content to look forward to.

Battlefront III might be in development after all!

@Player55 True. With the recent news of Ubisoft doing an open world game, that exclusive contract doesn't appear to be happening anyway. I can see them wanting EA to continue Battlefront and Jedi Fallen Order though.

What's more to add from me is that they can do the following: separate DICE into two teams: one that will continue to deliver Battlefront II updates while an another team develops Battlefront III!
That way, the community can thrive from Battlefront II for a period of time and when Battlefront III will have some months left for development, then they can regroup to the main team to finish Battlefront III! That will be crazy though but not impossible.

Interesting news, hopefully it’s built from the ground up with a new engine and new mechanics.

Mechanics from Pandemic’s BF2 like ground-to-space etc. comes to mind...

Also, I hope that the game will be available for Xbox One and PS4 but also for the Nintendo Switch or the rumored newest model coming this year if it's possible. That way, if my PC cannot handle it(I really don't think that will be the case since I will upgrade to a far superior PC but we will see), then I will have it on my Xbox One.
