If they did continue HvV, then yes they need two separate systems...one for competitive HvV, the other for the large scale modes. That's what Blizzard will be doing with Overwatch 2...keeping the multiplayer balancing separate from the PvE content. I think they have a whole separate leveling and power traits for the PvE content. Battlefront 2 doesn't have to go that far, but HvV should be on it's own separate balancing system.
For instance, stamina...take attacking off stamina for large scale modes and co-op. One of the reasons players don't stay on objectives well with lightsaber heroes is they run out of stamina and can't even attack their way out of a bad spot.

I should clarify a few things about my Titan mode suggestion. Supremacy is loosely based on Titan mode, but Titan mode has several major upgrades from Supremacy:
- There are no phases. The Capital ship and ground war are happening at the same time.
- Defenders can spawn on the Titan/Capital ship and even use canons to fire at ground forces.
- The Titans could be moved across the map...maps in Titan mode were HUGE.
- The Titans were highly defendable by design. If you watch Battlefield 2142 Titan Tutorial - YouTube again, you will notice a lot of narrow hallways and cover for defenders.
- This created a balancing act for the mode...your team has to decide when its worth going after the Titan/Capital ship directly, possibly at the cost of losing missile silos on the ground.
- Alternatively, if your team focuses on the ground too heavily, then the enemy might board your Titan and successfully get to the reactor core.
So in many ways, Titan mode is a massive step up in gameplay from Supremacy. And the good part is, no one has done anything like this since. It would be a unique mode for Battlefront 3. The closest thing has been Carrier Assault in Battlefield 4, but the carriers were basically not defendable at all. Usually first team to get into a carrier won. Not so in Titan mode by a long shot.

The problem is that heaps of Heros on the Battlefield just ruins trooper play
- @ToddyRocket1 This is something Battlefield fans have been wanting...a shift between mainline titles and Bad Company. BFV seemed to have an identity crisis along these lines. So use Battlefield 6 as a large scale game full of vehicles. Then shift to Bad Company 3 for an infantry focus.
I think EA's Battlefront games have also suffered similar to BFV in this regard...trying to please too many. So let Battlefront 3 continue with large scale modes while coming up with a separate game focused on Infantry modes like Blast, Extraction, Hunt modes, etc.
