Sorry but you are incorrect. This is not a bug, glitch, exploit, or anything else. If you had read the specifications, ARCADE mode does not and has not in the past since the game inception enhance or progress the known player Rank!

As for your second reply:
ARCADE mode only progresses Milestones relative to Career, and only those Milestones. The amount of points per round are relative to the amount of credits you receive, that is all. 

@the-creative-pup You are correct that with the latest update by EA a month or so, the limit of credits earned by playing arcade has changed to a limit associated to 15 rounds of play... So you can play 15 rounds of Arcade, obtain 1500 credits daily while archiving Milestones or not. Obviously
