BF II Crashes on Launch (HDR issue)

I have a 2080Ti connected to a 55" LG OLED HDR TV - no matter whether I have Windows 10 1909 set to HDR on or off the game crashes on launch, well really it minimizes down to the taskbar and will not open.  When you click or tab to it for a moment it goes full screen, you see the opening screen the crash back down to taskbar.  The TV flashes back and forth with HDR enabling/disabling a few times during this.

I've deleted the "Starwars Battlefront II" directory from my Documents directory, no change (it comes back but same issue).  When trying to open ProfileOptions I see that it's a binary file so I can't really edit it.

Any thoughts?  I played the very opening and now I can't do anything and I'd really like to try it out.

    Hey, @CMDRExigeous  make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date. 
     
    You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with SWBF2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
     
    Worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.

    I should have mentioned I'm running the following

    8086k@5.2 Ghz
    32GB DDR4
    512 GB NVMe
    RTX 2080Ti
    Windows 10 Pro 1909
    NVidia Driver: 441.41 (current as of writing)

    Oh and another tidbit - Battlefield V does the exact same thing (not surprising as they both use Frostbite, right?) Oh and dozens of other games play just fine BTW.
