    Could you try to make a new Windows account with Admin right and try to play SWBF2 there and see if anything saves. @MarthsBars 

    This will show if its a kernel issues with your windows account.

Most of the time this is related to the game not allowed to save to the PC document folder. @MarthsBars  Can be that you need to run SWBF2 and Steam as admin or make sure that no Anti-virus/firewall is blocking the game.

@EA_Atic I have attempted to run the game as administrator after reinstalling all of the necessary files and redownloading the game again on Steam. However, every time I have tried to start the game, it always crashes the game and the PC restarts, and I am unable to even reach the main menu screen. Is there another solution that I can try to attempt to run Battlefront 2 without it crashing before even reaching the main menu or damaging anything on the PC?
