Black screen after quitting game?

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug After playing most game modes in Battlefront 2,most of the time when exiting to the main menu the screen goes black with the music still playing in background and the saving/loading icon going around?And the game does not go back to menu so I have to turn it off and load it up again?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By playing the game as normal,then when you quit to go back to main menu,This happens most of the time!
What happens when the bug occurs? The screen goes black with the music still playing in background and the saving/loading icon still going around but it stays the same and won't go back to main screen?
What do you expect to see? The main menu,After quitting.

This is so frustrating and is spoiling my experience with Battlefront 2.

You're welcome. I saw your other post about the daily login crate but I never saw that one before. As for this particular issue, I was getting it a lot too and I know it's a pain to have to wait until the next round to start before quitting but it's how I solved it on my PC.

You have to wait until the next round begins to load. Then quit. I know it's a stupid solution but then EA is a stupid company.

Thanks for ur reply m8,I'll try this later.I hope they patch it soon as I'm also having trouble with my daily login crates,I have to load my game twice to get it as the first time doesn't give it to me lol.Thanks again😉

You're welcome. I saw your other post about the daily login crate but I never saw that one before. As for this particular issue, I was getting it a lot too and I know it's a pain to have to wait until the next round to start before quitting but it's how I solved it on my PC.

This bug is still active. Looks like the work around to quit after the next match has started is working but this shouldn't happen in a game after they released 2 patches.

I agree the bug still exists and my suggestion is still the only way around it. It's well known EA doesn't have a QA dept and all of their games go from pre-alpha to release. I doubt this issue will ever be fixed and I am positive their next patch will only break hundreds of other things. If it doesn't have something to do with ripping off consumers, they don't care.

Seeing long, long blank screens or game screens after HvV, exit to home screen. Took more than 5 minutes 1 time, and 12 the next. Normal is about 10 seconds, but last night had several times I earned a skill point and wanted to apply it. Tryign to get out was rediculous for waiting. Something is delaying the online packet transfer. Was not busy - lots of 4v3 games. Frames in games were fine, Inet was 230MB/S. All else was OK, but black screen for long long time,. I started closing and restarting..
