Black screen on startup

I've had this issue for the past 2 years ever since I tried to reinstall bf2, I can launch the game, but it instantly goes into a black screen. I can access the console with tilde from this screen, but this black screen never progressses.

I've tried reinstalling multiple times on different drives, reinstalling on epic, EA, and steam on different accounts, uninstalling and reinstalling VCRedist, deleting the documents folder after trying to change the bootoptions and such (my settings folder doesn't generate itself either), I even tried purging every file related to battlefront 2 off my pc, registry files and all. Updating graphics drivers did nothing as well.

I at one point when I could play the game, used mods, so I reinstalled frostyfix, disabled mods, checked the environment variables, and tried launching with frosty as well. No luck with any of these. I also tried a new windows profile, no luck.

I'm about a half a day off doing a fresh reinstall of windows, just so I can solve this. This is my second time going down the rabbithole of trying to fix this and I've made no progress. I've sunk so much time into fixing it, I feel like I HAVE to find a way to fix it now.
