Can confirm Block Bug is still present after CS update. Seen several players confirm it happens to them as well. Video taken few hours after CS update.
It may be related, but it isn't a BUG that substituted the other, as it already existed before the previous Block BUG had been (seemingly) fixed. And it's reported in the link I provided.
This one you shared isn't exactly a Block BUG as it's an animation BUG. Block works fine, but the animation doesn't. I also experienced this BUG, but as it's just an animation BUG, I didn't haste to make a report about it. Let me share with you a gif that's in my signature in the main forum, which shows this BUG (also prior to the Capital Supremacy Update):
@RogueZeroRendar No, the block was not working. I could not block anything, I took damage from Palpatine whenever I got hit and you can notice that my stamina did drain only when I attacked, not when I tried to block incoming attacks. And this was not the only case of it happening, it's just the only one I captured on video. I got this bug with other heroes as well.
Palpatine is known to pass through blocks with his weird lightning mechanics, especially the skill+attack combos as the skill creates the gap in your block he needs to hit you.
In the beginning of the video, just before you try the Deplete Stamina Method, we can't be sure of what you're doing unfortunately. It reminds me the Disabled Block BUG before they introduced stamina cost to sustain blocking. Back then it was hard to show the BUG as there was little to no visual indication of it happening. But since they removed the stamina cost for sustaining block again in the CS Update, block does trigger the stamina bar to become visible anyway, even though it doesn't deplete just by sustaining the block. This makes it even weirder, so we're unfotunately left with your word for it. Don't take me wrong, I think you may be right there, but I'll need to experience it myself to be sure, and I didn't trigger this BUG once since the latest update.
However, after you deplete your stamina, it becomes very clear you get the BUG shown in my GIF. You do block, the blocking animation doesn't trigger, your stamina bar does appear, you do block some hits successfully, your stamina does decay aproppriately after each successful block. So there's no denying you got the BUG I showed here. If you did get a new version of the Disabled Block BUG in the first few seconds of the video, that's another matter, and we're unfortunately left with no proofs but your word for it.
I'll keep a close eye on this issue. I believe by Sunday I'll be able to do some testing in Arcade Splitscreen, and then I'll try the Choke Method to trigger the Disabled Block BUG that I discovered back in April 2018, which has never failed to trigger the BUG throughout all this time. I'll report back with my findings then.
