Bomber erroneously has "Advanced Capacitors" card equipped; cannot remove.

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug After the content and progression patch update, early this spring, the Bomber card loadout had a Rey & Chewbacca card "Advanced Capacitors" equipped. This is not a Bomber card so I cannot find it to unequip it. This results in me being unable to equip a third card.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? IPayToLose
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 04/15/2018
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 10:10 AM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Starfighter Assault
What is your time zone? CST - GMT - 6:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into my account and see the MIDDLE card equipped to the Bomber. It is the Advanced Capacitors card that is typically only for Rey & Chewbacca
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot unequip the card.
What do you expect to see? The ability to unequip the card or clear ALL cards to flush out any equipped cards that may be erroneously equipped.

See Screenshot.  I tried to uninstall the game completely (to get rid of any local save file info) and download again.  It did not work.

    We've received a similar report recently concerning a different card and class. I'll send this information to our specialists to see if something can be done about it.

  • I have the same problem with armor having a Leia's card, I hope they fix this soon

    I've got a word from our specialists that we're planning to release a general fix for this issue, but unfortunately no date has been set in stone yet 😳

    However, you can contact our live support right away, describe the problem and your case should get escalated to our experts, who have tools to individually solve it on your account. It should be a way faster route 😉

    Thank you for the reply!  I'm not sure if the devs did a sweeping fix or if someone manually adjusted my account, but the bomber ship is now fixed.  When I went to log in, the card was unequipped.  Thanks!

    thanks for the reply, but please would you please say what steps do we must follow?? I dont want to go to the wrong threat and my complaing be missing to the experts

    Technically, you're contacting our game advisers first, not experts, so it's important to describe the issue correctly 😉 And you can contact them via phone or chat on EA Help.

    Tell an agent that one of your Star Cards is stuck, because it's been equipped by a wrong character. You can say that it's a problem with Star Card crossover between classes. They might ask you if you've performed any troubleshooting steps like deleting saved data. If you confirm that it's been done and haven't helped, that should give an adviser an opportunity to escalate your case to our experts.

    I'm sorry that it seems complicated, but unfortunately I cannot send your case to them myself ☹️ Also, you can always show them this thread and my instructions, they should know what to do 🙂
