I've seen this happen occasionally but usually pressing the Windows key to bring up the start menu and then clicking back into the game solves it. But I just updated my graphics card drivers and now the menu and game in general is far too bright and it is not going back to normal.
Does anyone know what causes this and what I can do to prevent it or at least, just fix it?
I appreciate that you have to start with basic suggestions, but that's not going to fix it. This is the only game it happens in. Earlier I repaired the game and when it started, it was back to normal. I played for a while, perfectly fine. Hours later, I launched the game again and the problem was back.
This is a problem specific to this game - not even other Frostbite games have this issue.
I've found it to be an issue when selecting Borderless or Windowed. I can play in Full Screen, but I'm seeing a slight monitor flicker when I do, so Borderless is ideal. I selected it earlier, and it worked. Then I alt-tabbed to another program, came back to Battlefront to find the gamma set way too high again. Tried changing between Full Screen and Borderless - gamma still too high. This is clearly an issue with the game and not my GPU or monitor settings.
Yeah, that's about the level of help I expected in here.
