Bring back Star Wars Battlefront 2
Recently the player count has risen up again and I think it is time that EA realizes their mistake. This game was great. It had the best atmosphere and graphics of any game I ever played and it was so much fun. I was heartbroken as it got shut down.
My feedback on how bringing it back to life could be successful
- We need a battle pass with some fun cosmetics, even ones that don’t necessarily exist in the movies. After some time, you can purchase these skins in the shop.
- New heroes should cost money or use some form of special currency, like the legend tokens from Apex Legends.
- Introduce a remastered upgrade version of the game that is also cross-play compatible with the old version, so the player base doesn’t get split.
- Add modes with more players.
- FOR THIS TO WORK, YOU HAVE TO BRING BACK THE OLD BATTLEFRONT II TEAM! I’m sure if you ask them, most of them would say yes—because they loved the game as much as we do.
- Battlefront, while great, had really only one issue: it gave away too much stuff for free. If the game returns, it needs to allow players to spend money on something—but there should still be good ways to earn items for free by playing a lot.
Why continuing the current version makes more sense than making Battlefront 3
- A brand-new game has a higher chance of failing to meet expectations.
- Battlefront II is already in a perfect spot and just needs a revival and fresh content.
- Developing Battlefront 3 would likely take years and miss the opportunity to capitalize on current Star Wars hype.
- There’s no need for a new game if the existing one gets solid updates.
