The only thing is how come other games do it? they say there will be exclusive pre order dlc & then next thing you know the game gets released & all the pre order DLC is made buyable at some point. So if other companies do it why can't dice?
Other companies should face legal issues for making exclusive pre order dlc buyable then with that said but you don't see people complaining or suing other game companies for it.
If other companies don't play by the rules then 100% confused on why they can't for something like this.
@exiledroseIt's most likely like this because very specific legal buttfuckery is required to determine which content can be released afterwards or not.
I know what you mean, like for Battlefield 3 (made by DICE) were a lot of pre-order dogtags that could be purchased later on as DLC.
However, this wasn't possible for all of them. Some dogtags are still not to be obtained as DLCs. Like event or hardware specific ones.
Also other pre-order stuff like certain dogtags as well as some special soldier camo.
