I've read your post and I've tried deselecting a hero in Hero vs Villians and the game won't let me. I'm on the Xbox One S. This issue has been going on for some time now. Once a Heros vs Villians match has started I'm stuck with whoever I chose at the beginning. I cannot change my Hero no matter what button I push. And I pushed them all to try to find out what's happening. Does EA or Dice know this is happening? If they do, is there a timeline on when this will be fixed? I've seen some people change Heros during a match, only some. It would be nice if we could all change Heros the way we change troopers in other matches.
On A Side Note:
Why does my hero powers not work like everyone else's? Rey's Mind Trick = When I get hit by Mind Trick I can't turn around and my controls are reversed, then I’m dead. When I use Mind Trick other Heros walk through it and kill me. Not fair at all. Luke Skywalker's Push & Repulse = When I get hit by this I am blasted far away. When I use it, it will work 20% of the time. Meaning the other Heros will get hit by a gust of air and still be standing there ready to kill me. Why is that? Chewbacca's Bowcaster = I'm usually killed with 3 shots from it from the other Heros but when I use Chewbacca, I have to use more shots to kill other Heros. I’m killed a lot trying to kill with so many shots. Why is that? Chewbacca cannot run or dodge very well either. Can we fix that too, please? Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious 1st his Darth name should be shown in the game and we should have the option to choose it. 2nd He used to be a powerhouse and now he has been neutered. They downgraded his strength and abilities because some felt he was too strong. Now he is forced to play a support Hero. He cannot go toe to toe with anyone anymore. He is EXTREMELY easy to kill with blasters or a lightsaber. Tell EA & Dice they weakened him too much. As for Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus, he should also show up with both of his names or at the very least give us the players the option on what we want to call him. The same for Darth Sidious.
