Cannot load new maps after update

After the update, when a gamemode changes maps my screen flashes half white and it goes back to the previous end game screen (scoreboard,etc). It's gets stuck there. Anyone know a fix? I can't play ...

    This may be related to this bug, as I'm pretty sure I'm seeing that white flash before or after it optimizes shaders.
