Eventhough my Kylo Ren is level 25 and I had a skill point available it was still impossible to upgrade the star card to purple. Hey @Julybil @Alliecat7803 @Snake-RC-1138 As you probably know, we used to have some issues with upgrading Star Cards of a few heroes in the past, but it was due to a missing/wrong description. If you rank up one more rank you should be able to access the purple. There was a glitch like that back when everyones rank dropped and when I got my rank back I was already 25 with my extra points while playing with the wrong rank. Gave me 25 when it returned to normal level but didn't trigger to let me access that until I hit 26. Maybe its a glitch in the coding, who knows. Could try that if you didn't hit another rank yet

This happens to me aswell but on PS4. For some reason I'm not allowed to upgrade any star card to Epic (purple) when i reach level 25 (this happens to me with every heroe/villain). I solved this by joining a Heroes vs Villains match, and before the round starts, i upgraded the cards in the pre-round menu, the bug never occurred in the pre-round menu, only in the collection menu. As soon as i upgrade a star card to purple, the bug disappeares and i can upgrade them to purple in the collection menu too. This works on PS4 but maybe it works on PC too, give it a try, i hope this helps

This sometime happens, and it usually can be resolved by leaving the game and coming back in. For some reason, for some people, the raise in level doesn't register right away.

I have the same problem with Leia's star cards.

Somehow I have managed to upgrade the star cards by starting the tutorial (of course by accident), then waiting for it to load and then leave the tutorial. After that I got a yellow marker on Leia and I was able to upgrade the star cards. However I still cannot upgrade Kylo Ren's star cards.

Not that it's a "solution", because obviously there is a problem on EA's end here, but what happens if you level up one more? Like play Kylo Ren in HvV a couple of rounds, can you upgrade when you get to level 26?

@Alliecat7803 I have reached rank 26 with Kylo and now I received two skill points instead of one and I was able to upgrade star cards to purple. I think one rank was not tracked by the skill points, so I could not upgrade the rare star cards to epic.

This bug also occured on Finn when I reached rank 25 with him.
