Can't change the default audio source for the game audio

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug Game audio for all parts of the game will only play out of monitor speakers regardless of the Default Audio Device Windows setting
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? GammaBEAM69
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 02/12/2017
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 18:30PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Galactic Assault
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Install the game on a pc that has several audio outputs e.g. monitor speakers, external speakers and headset 2. In the windows settings make sure that external speaker or the headset is the set as the default audio device 3. Boot Star Wars Battlefront 2 4. Notice there is no game audio
What happens when the bug occurs? When the bug occurs all game audio can only be heard through the monitor speakers and can not be changed to come out of any other audio source. Note: This was working fine in the first week after launch and has since broken after the most recent update
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to play the game and have the game audio work from any audio source I've set as the default audio device in the windows settings.

    This is what worked for me, if you are using multiple audio outputs and want to choose where the game sound should come out from.

    This is on Windows 10.

    1.  (You can start the game now or on step 5, I don't think it matter much)
    2. Go in Windows 10 settings
    3. Go to "System"
    4. Go into the "Sound" tab on the left
    5. Go to "Other sound options" (should be at the bottom)
    6. You can launch Battlefront 2 now (if you haven't already) in order to get it to appear in the app list 
    7. In the Windows 10 settings, you should be at "App Volume and device preferences", with a list of apps in the middle
    8. Look for Battlefront 2 and on the right choose the output you want the sound to come out from
    9. Go back into the game Battlefront 2, you should now hear sound coming out from your desired output

    If you have any issues with SWBF2 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
