Can't Connect To EA Servers To Activate Error

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:PC
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug After the Geonosis update Battlefront 2 now provides an error when trying to launch that I'm unable to connect to the EA server to activate. I've tried: -Uninstall and reinstall of both BF2 and Origin using their Revo Uninstaller -Clearing cache and resetting host files -Flushing DNS -Installing another Origin game and then trying (BF1 worked fine btw) -Scoured the EA forums and found it's a common issue with Origin and affects many of their games -Deleting just patch then updating again -Repairing BF2 -Contacting EA support and 4 times and they advised to update graphics drivers (had no effect) and then pretty much said "welp, we don't know we'll enter it as a bug" after providing them trace tests, dxdiag, and msinfo files -Performed windows updates -Clean reboot with no background processes or start up items active -Disabled all antivirus and firewalls -Launching from game folder, even the BF2 trial requests activation and at least gives me the chance to enter the key but I've never received an activation key I've done all I can short of ensuring ports are open, I'm not knowledgeable enough to play with all of that and doing a fresh install of windows (some people report this fixes it) Literally hyped myself so hard for Geonosis and Obi-wan and played all week to get back in the rhythm. Woke up early to update and this is how I'm rewarded.. please can anyone help I'm desperate to enjoy my love of Star Wars.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? TLowesFlow
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 28/11/2019
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 07:30 AM AST
In what game mode did the bug occur? Campaign
What is your time zone? AST - GMT - 9:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure how you'd replicate an issue like this, obviously not everyone is affected and it's related to the patch. Seems Origin related.
What happens when the bug occurs? Receive an error message stating that I can't connect to EA servers to activate and when closing the error window I'm pushed back to Origin and can never play.
What do you expect to see? I just want to play the game about the series I love.

Sorry I had already tried this but I tried again after you suggested and no luck. Also when opening using Origin in offline mode and trying to play it prompts me to sign in and activate but gives me the same error after doing so.

I was using Discord but I uninstalled it and the issue persists, I've also already tried a clean boot, tried installing to different locations, flushing and resetting DNS, and went back and deleted all Origin cache files again. Also used CCleaner with steps I found in an EA post and did end up ensuring the ports were open, as well as disabling firewall and uninstalling antivirus softwares. Also installed the Origin update today and created rules and exceptions for every executable in the Origin folder and Battlefront 2 folder. Went to request another call and they had closed my support ticket after just reporting it as a bug, the last person I spoke with didn't even try contacting a specialist like those before him. My case number was 45027355. Really not prepared to reinstall windows and some say this doesn't even fix their issue, some say they had EA remove their game from their account and re-add it and it resolved it, while others said this didn't work. Any and all suggestions are appreciated though, thank you! Anything else you can suggest would be a great help.

It seems like you may have been playing since my last post, can you confirm either way please?

You have done a lot of troubleshooting so far and I know this sounds trivial but is your time and date set correctly?

    Thanks.

I wish, no I've not played since the 28th, I've tried to launch it about a hundred times though and I can see the Activation UI tries but ultimately produces the error. And I have ensured the time is synchronized with time.windows.com.
