Aussie player here, looking to get back into it. Haven't played in a few months, came back to try and get my flatmate to join the game but couldn't because we find matchmaking completely borked. -1 Sale.
EDIT: I have literally spent hours staring at loading screens and empty lobbies. I have tried every "fix" I could find around the web, no luck. I am utterly astonished at how widespread this issue seems to be, and for how long it has been going on. SWBF2 is the PREMIUM and ONLY current Star Wars franchise game at the moment, and it is just being driven into the ground by incompetent management. I genuinely hope that EA lose the franchise over this Day 1 mess.

Same here. I m from EU and it is impossible to play a proper game, always on empty lobbies ! i thought it was from my 4G connection on my phone but no even on a fiber connection same ! It is real pain that bug !
