Ok guys ... I got it working. In a live chat with the EA support team the guy there suggested openening some ports that Battlefront uses.
And this solved the empty server connection issue for me. Before 9 in 10 games or even more connected me to empty lobbies and after I opened the ports and restarted the game I wasnt connected to one single empty server all day. See this list for which ports you have to open: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/#battlefront
Hope it helps.

THANK YOU, @jan_case!! I was considering returning the game until I found this info. Also, I changed my ping site to Oregon which I think might've helped. Thanks to you the game works PERFECTLY, whereas before it failed to find a single match. I already had all the ports forwarded for XBOX Live, 2015 BF, etc, but didn't think to check if there were new ones listed for this title.- 7 years ago
A match requires a certain amount of players to be connected to start (I think its 10), so people connect see that game wont start for a while since it doesn't have 10 players yet and leave.
Please remove the limit completely, so game starts with bots or 2 players minimum. This way people wont just leave upon connecting and maybe game won't be as dead?
