Seems there's a bunch of us Aussies having this exact issue (several threads on here for this).  One response so far recommended uninstalling and reinstalling the game... which doesn't seem like a 'fix' to what looks like a network/server side issue.

I'm having the same problem but I've got a temporary fix that works for me. Try switching your Ping Location (under Settings -> EA Account) to US-Oregon (sometimes comes up as aws-pdx instead). Switching to Japan/Hong Kong and a few other locations that I tried didn't work and still froze on Kashyyyk, but I haven't had any problems on Oregon.

Even that does not work for me

  • Zappywarlock When you that It sometimes works and you connect. Problem is rare times you do connect is gets really laggy times. I used switch servers all the time before 1.2 and had no problem. Now its extremely laggy and it has nothing to do with my connection.

Highlight the game Star Wars Battlefront II, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage Game.
In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and delete profile and saved game data 4Gb
Sign out of XBox, and restart. This should solve the issue.
