Sounds like you have a mouse problem.
a) make sure you do not have a controller attached
b) try a different mouse
c) make sure mouse software (e.g. GHub) is not getting in the way

Gamer myth #7. Just because only one game is having issues does not mean it is specifically the game that's at fault. I've seen this numerous times, including me personally. There is high likelihood something other than the game is getting in the way with your setup (e.g. mouse).
So I have disconnected all controllers, joysticks, pedals, etc, have tried a different mouse (an optical mouse that does not require software) and it still does not seem to work.

More stuff than I thought... Chances are there is some software for the controllers, joysticks, pedals, or mouse getting in the way.
