after i closed discord it worked
I noticed after this happened that I would get kicked out to the main page with an error message stating my connection to server had been lost. I know that there was no interruptions in my internet connection but went ahead to check my stats regarding my internet connection and found there was a message stating there was problems with xbox live. Specifically with microsoft transactions and content usage. Since then, I have had pages freeze in using my edge browser when used via xbox one console. This might be an xbox live problem more than an EA problem only for xbox console users. If you are using PC or PS4 this problem in content usage would not apply.
