Can't play BF2, Epic Games wants to load through Origin

Question

I cannot play the free copy of BF2 that I received from Epic Games, because attempting to launch it will always go through Origin (which no longer has online) instead of EA Play. All of my progress is connected to that account.

This is so frustrating and broken. Thank you guys for replacing your pos origin app with another pos that doesn't even work.

Try this.

1. Uninstall the game, Epic launcher, EA app and Origin (if still installed).
2. Install Epic launcher, then EA app, then the game.
3. Launch the game from Epic.
