So I bought Star Wars Battle Front II - Celebration Edition, a couple of days ago.(see attached image) In order to play it, i needed to install ORIGIN, didn't even know what the fook was that.
once i installed it, i needed an account, but i didn't have one. So i "borrowed" my sister's.
Fast forward to a day ago when we found out that this game was free on EPIC GAMES, she decided to get the game.
Sooo noowwww the problem is............ Why does this stoooopid ORIGIN APP saying i need an ACTIVATION CODE when i bought this game with my hard earned money? All i wanted was just to enjoy this game on my days off from work.
Like didn't your team/a team think this through or sumshiiiit when you guys decided you were gonna make it free???? like seriously I'm foookiiin dumbfounded here.
I'm hoping you can help me since well, this is your guys' job 🙂
i dont know if this is normal but i even though i had my epic games version deleted effectively,ι see battlefront twice in origin as epic games version.

@SkywalkerTheOnelol, so even removing Epic version doesn't fix the issue great. You still can't launch Steam version right?

For some unexplained reason i managed to reactivate my steam version to origin, and asked me to resync my cloud saves for this to happen,i did that,i even played 2 matches with steam, but now i get this error message,i hit verify the integrity of my installation files and still says that.Though the above problem remains, even though i activated that from steam again it doesnt appear as a steam game but as an epic game, and deleting the game from epic, unlinking the origin and epic games didnt change the icon .

@grynnU can revoke ur epic license but ur stem license will not back bcz its already gone. thats why EA supporters r telling not to revoke epic from origin
- grynn5 years agoSeasoned Vanguard@DreamCatchXD Alright thanks for the warning. I don't wanna revoke my Epic license anyway, as I'm planning to use it after my EA Play membership.
