Celebration Edition content not available after Epic Store giveaway

I bought Battlefront II a year or so ago on Origin directly. I got the Celebration Edition on the Epic Store recently and was thrilled to have access to all this content.

I tried to fire up the Celebration Edition through the Epic client and was redirected to Origin to redownload the game. I started the game once it was finished and I noticed the issue right away. 

How can I fix this issue?

    Hey @Emmand123  if you go to the different troopers, Hero's do you have skins and emotes unlocked?

    @Emmand123Yeah, this is extremely irritating, and I cannot install the owned version I have directly from EA EVER again either, they LOCKED it out, I've reinstlled the EA App, 2 times, the game 4 times NO DIFFERENCE, and NO original copy of the Celebration Edition I actually PAID for to install ANYWHERE in my account. All I can install now is the Standard edition from Epic Games, where I SIMPLY got a free copy, i PAID for a version to play DIRECTLY on EA, and they REMOVED IT!
