Summarize your bug The character does not stop walking, although no button is pressed. Reinstalled before and of course there is no controller linked to the PC.

What happens when the bug occurs? The character does not stop but keeps walking

Are you using any overlays and have any other devices plugged into your USB slots? My first guess was a controller but you mentioned that already...
Have you tried:- Repairing the game by right-clicking on it in Origin
- Resetting the keybindings back to default
- Unplugging the mouse and keyboard
