character wont stop spinning

when i try to play bf2 my character starts spinning non stop i have no controllers plugged in i have reinstalled the game disabled overlays and tried everything i can

  • Hey @ruhcxsjaodnt,

Spinning like this is typically due to a peripheral of some kind.

I see you've checked for controllers being plugged in, but do you have any other USB or bluetooth devices plugged in at all?

This could even be something like a charging station, headset, mic, etc. Are you able to make sure you don't have anything else plugged in whatsoever?

  • Hi @EA_Mako

I have the same issue, connected with main PC via KVM (no other option for connections)
all my USBs are connected to screens and to the KVM: AliExpress link.

Entering the game char starts infinity spinning and I am not able to play.

What will be your suggestion? Ask re-found or EA can provide technical solution disabling the HUD control identifier allowing players PC base to enjoy the game?

  • @EA_Mako By the way its around third topic that "community managers" ignoring the fact that a mass of people have the same issue with USB devices identified as controller, I cant belive that SW developer cant add simple flag to mark if its not a controller than IGNORE automatic identification.

But why you friends keep closing the threads and asking to open a new one instead of simple - helpinng people?
  • Hi @EA_Mako

No, regular PC - attaching DxDiag with all data.

I tried to disconnect all possible usb devices and nothing helped... Can someone made a patch or something?

  • @EA_Mako Hi Mako... How long will take to investigate this issue prior you will close this thread also as deprecated w/o any basic resolution?
