Community Darth Maul event.

Saw this this morning as well.  I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest the dev team look at ALL the other Community Challenges and fix them BEFORE they open them up.  You know, like Obi's two that are happening right now as well.

Almost had the "Free your Rage" challenge completed last night, just had about 25,000 to go. It was late and I was too tired so I went to bed. Woke up this morning to find the progress reset with only a small amount of progress. The strange thing is, as I toggle between screens in the game, when I return to the home screen it shows a lil more progress, even though I'm not playing at all. Only about 1,000 at a time. When I woke up this morning it started at around 6,000 now its 31,000. Still a big difference from the 2,475,000 I had completed up til last night. Which really upsets me because of all the time I spent performing eliminations, which this morning, seem all for nought.

So eben I logged on today I saw that the progress towards Free Your Rage had gone from 2.4+ million last night to 100k today. Considering that there is only two days left and that it took near 8 days to get to the  2.4 million mark it would be nice if this were corrected. The only proof I can offer is a screenshot from the 15th at which point the progress was at 1,391,945. This isn't the first time this has occurred as it also happened with the Old Rivalries challenge. But that was corrected.

This is a community quest, so your own effort to help complete it is actually added to all other players doing this as well. This explains why you gain points for its completion even if you don't do anything yourself.

However, if your issue is with the Free Your Rage event, and not with the Old Rivalry one, then this means both events are bugged, and what solved the issue for one of them, didn't solve or wasn't applied to the other? How typical. Like with resistances lingering for longer then intended, they fix one character, but not all of them. Also with the corpse attacking BUGs and the stuck sound bugs, and many others of course.

So we should expect all community challenges will BUG like that? Honestly, I'm just entering in the game these days to get the prizes for the sake of completionism. I haven't even seen the quests counters yet. I hope I'm proven wrong and we can do quests normally.

EA/DICE says they know about the bug and are working on it

It seems both quests got the same BUG. I haven't checked this ingame myself, but the reports here suggest that.

EA Staff has responded in the main forum that they are actively searching for a fix to be released ASAP.

I have suffered the same issue too For the Free Your Rage -Time Challenge and I almost completed it lastnight I figured I had 2 days, so I stopped and then this morning it had reset itself, wow I felt so cheated and enraged, and I'm still feeling a little raw about, this crap.
