The only way to get the Maul Old Master appearance is to defeat 5,000 enemies?

@DarthFDG Currently yes, but Ben Walke said via the Official Battlefront Discord that they will be adjusting this. We are unsure of when though, hopefully soon, before too many people grind their hearts out.

    5,000 would keep some people engaged for a while. 😃
