Consistent controller lag on Xbox One - Unplayable

Hi, I'm trying to play Battlefront II on Xbox One S, but I can't play because of the consistent input lag. Things don't happen on screen until about 300ms after I press a button. This happens in game...

I've been having the same problem ever since i bought the game for xbox in the beginning of this year. I always thought it was cause the game was really big and took a lot of power to run, until I got the game on pc and realized how bad the input lag is.(this is the first time I've got a game with realistic graphics)

@TheGooseShot I was using the controller on PC and thats how I realized the input lag.
