While playing multiplayer game modes, in random intervals from every few seconds to a few minutes, my game controls will lock up and become unresponsive for anywhere from 5 secs to 30 secs; the only thing I can do is move the viewpoint using the mouse. Also, standard windows shortcuts like alt-tab/ctrl-alt-del/etc still work.
It only happens in multiplayer game modes, and at random intervals; if I am using a trooper then the viewpoint will switch from 3rd person to 1st person, and switches back once it is done. It's not a freeze per say, other players continue to do their thing just fine, and I am stuck in one spot (or, in the case of starfighters, one direction), unable to attack or move. If I am killed while the controls are locked, I can instantly use the mouse/keyboard. I tested this by mashing scoreboard key during lockup; once killed, i can view the scoreboard again.
I've tried all the generic troubleshooting steps, such as making sure drivers are up to date, clean booting the PC, setting Origin/SWBFII as Admin, repairing the game, setting Origin in-game to "off", port forwarding, etc. Nothing helps.
