Could you try deleting the STAR WARS Battlefront II folder from your documents, then use repair option in Origin and launch game as admin?
Have you checked to see if you have any updates for Windows and the latest driver for your GPU?
If that doesn't work, please attach a DxDiag for us.

You both are on an older build of Windows 10 so it might be worth updating that to see if it has any positive effect. You both are exceeding the requirements for the game, do you overclock your PCs?
Have you seen the performance guide yet?
Origin recently had an update so check to see if Origin In-Game is enabled in your Application Settings. If it is, turn that off and also turn off cloud saves.- 6 years ago
Thank you for the suggestions. I updated Windows to the current version, my PC is not overclocked. I also disabled Origin In-Game and cloud saves, but unfortunately the problem persists. I love this game so I'll still play it until it crashes, but I'd like to have an uninterrupted session. Thanks again for the help so far, hopefully we can figure out a solution! Updated DxDiag attached.
Edit: Turns out there was another Windows update, and after installing it the game worked pretty well for about 45 minutes, and then crashed while loading into Geonosis GA.
