If Star Wars Battlefront 3 goes cross platform, maybe I'll finally meet the PC ""Hackers"" who play ""too well""/unfairly.
This actually really excites me. (Impossible challenges. YAY!) I've only heard tales about this one person, who I think went by the username... well... I can't say, but it's a reference to an old anime. (Fox made a live action retelling of it a few years back. But it didn't get a sequel. Guess who bought it. Just one of the future overlords, naturally.)
I wonder if the ""hacker"" would play Swbf3...And I wonder if Swbf3 will have any fun small sporty modes, like cargo.
Those would be some good times... Daydreaming of the future.
@Dvveebo lol. Not sure that would ever happen. Most cross platform games allow you to disable PC cross platform. Some like Apex Legends won't even touch it. I play on PS4 and have never seen a PC player yet in my squad...just Xbox and I guess soon Switch players.
I do think EA should look into cross platform for consoles at the least. They are doing it with their other games, why not roll it back into Battlefront 2.

You're not sure that EA would ever have cross platform with (PC players vs console players) in Star Wars Battlefront Three?Or you're not sure that I would ever meet the (potentially cheating) combat angel of old rumors? (I mean, it's possible Covid took care of them. But that's just sad... I'd prefer to dream.)

But it reminded me that Swbf3 is going to be made.
Since they made Squardrons with cross platform then it seems reasonable to assume they'll make swbf3 in cross-platform??
If so, I'm looking forward to when that happens.
I suppose it has nothing to do with the subject of the thread at hand.(Other than the fact that I've never been able to play against a legendary (cheater?) who plays swbf games on PC, and I WANT TO!!! From the comfort of my preferred console, of course. The PS triggers are big and disgusting. While a mouse doesn't feel at all like anything ... other than a hard blob... Not suited to my tastes. )
Not that it matters; I'd be up for them adding cross-platform to their somewhat older games too.
