Darth Vader now invincible on HvV

I just battled against and as him, he's not invincible

I've played a couple of matches with Vader and against Vader, but he certainly takes damage. Let's discuss this together!

Vader has the most health of any hero/villain in the game. Even more if you have a certain star card equipped. Vader also has a star card that he can gain health if he makes a kill (if he kills another villain of hero while this card is equipped, then he may even gain more health!). So you could really say that Vader is a great TANK in this game.

However, there is also a downside to him. He moves very slowly and light side heroes can easily outrun them. He only has 1 middle range ability but you really must get into the fight if you want to get some kills with him. He can't snipe...

When a lightsaber hero blacks (Yoda and Maul cannot block lightsabers), it can deflect bullets and other attacks. However, it is not a SHIELD. You can still attack a blocking lightsaber hero from the back. That is really important. Also splash damage (from chewies bowcaster) cannot be deflected properly. Lightsabers can deflect only from the side they are looking at, not from the back.

So here is some tips to fight vader. If you are on a open map, you could just shoot him constantly from a distance. He won't be able to catch you since he is only short range. If you fight him on HvV, Chewie will do great. Use his stun (throw it behind him, so he can't block it. Then destroy him with your bowcaster. Same goes for lightsaber heroes that go up against Vader. Don't try to hammer in on his block, that won't do anything, but try to outmanouvre him. Try to attack him from the back (jump over him or dodge just past him). 

Also, if your teammate engages with Vader, try to help him by shooting at Vader during the fight, or buff your teammate.

You do realize its a glitch right?

It's a glitch that people have just started to find out and all you need to do is search 'Vader invincible glitch' on Google and go to videos and see a certain known player post it on his YouTube channel. I hear it has something to do with a combo of focus rage and an emote or something to trigger it. For now it's rare to see but as soon as people find out we all know what will happen

just do quickly Force Choke then saber throw then 2 dodge. TIing is key 🙂 Hopefully this gets fixed ASAP.

What's being reported here is a previous iteration of the invincibility glitch. Not sure if it's the same I found in 2018, but I believe so:

As you can see there's a Stamina Wheel and Rey can still attack without Stamina. We're talking old stuff here.

The new Vader glitch has probably nothing to do with this one here. As part of the trigger you need Vader to have some perks that were nonexistent back in 2018.
